For many years Las Animas County Colorado has earned the reputation as one of the top 5 trophy elk producers in the state. The vast majority of this county (the largest in the state) and bordering New Mexico is private land and there is very little public land hunting.

This plays a major role in better trophy management and higher kill success on older larger bull elk. “We do not shoot young bulls". We are trophy hunting for mature bulls, 300 points or better.
